Begin an incredible 5 Days Desert Tour From Fes to Marrakech and a transfer to your Riad. Your second day features a guided tour through the ancient maze of the Fes Medina, uncovering historical sites, the Jewish quarter, and vibrant artisan souks.
On the third day, travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane and the cedar forests before descending past the Ziz Valley to reach the golden dunes of Merzouga for a sunset camel trek and a night under the stars. The fourth day takes you through Rissani’s traditional market, ancient irrigation systems, and the towering limestone cliffs of Todra Gorge before settling in the Dades Valley. The final leg leads you past Ouarzazate and the legendary Kasbah Ait Benhaddou before crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass to conclude your adventure in Marrakech.
Your first day of the trip will be picking you up from the airport where you will meet your guide/driver holding a paper with your name written in it. After meeting your guide/driver, you will head to your Riad. Of course your guide/driver will provide you with information and you can ask about what will be the next and how the stay will be and be ready for the next day.
The next day will be ready to discover the maze of Fez city with your local guide. The city guided tour will start at 09:30 AM. This second day you are gonna discover many different cultural and historical site of the Medina Fez. You are starting the tour with your guide/driver visiting the King palace, the Jewish quarter and the panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fez.
after you are gonna lost with your local guide in the maze of the Medina discovering the Souks, the Ceramic, the leather sites. It will almost be full day, after you are done, you head back to your Riad and be ready for the next adventure to the amzazing place in Morocco, to the Erh Chebbi desert Dunes.
After breakfast, journey toward the majestic Sahara dunes while exploring the striking landscapes of the Middle Atlas. Your first stop is the alpine-style town of Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” for free time to stroll and snap photos with the iconic sculpted stone lion. Continue about twenty minutes onward to the ancient Cedar Forest to observe and photograph wild Barbary macaques.
Proceed toward Midelt or Rich for a lunch stop, then resume the drive toward the desert, pausing to stretch your legs and capture panoramic photos over the lush palm groves of the Ziz Valley. Passing through Erfoud—famous for its fossil workshops—you will soon reach the edge of the golden dunes. From here, embark on a camel trek into the desert to reach your camp, where you can unwind under the stars and enjoy traditional Berber drumming around the campfire.
After enjoying the sunrise and having your breakfast peacefully, you are driving back from the camp to a meetpoint to meet your guide/driver. This fourth day, you are driving to Rissani city where you will explore the old city and its souks and how the life style of people in there.
After your short Tour in Rissani, you drive to visit the Irrigation system then head to Tinjdad for lunch time. After enjoying your lunch time, you drive again approximately an hour to the Todra Gorges where you will walk among its high mountains. Back from the Todra Gorges, heading to Dades Valley for the evening and spending your peacefull night.
On day five, depart after breakfast for the scenic drive to Marrakech. En route, stop for panoramic vistas and visit Ouarzazate’s famous Atlas Film Studios—known as the Hollywood of Africa—where numerous blockbusters have been filmed (optional guided tours cost approximately 80 MAD per person).
Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou to explore its historic earthen clay architecture, followed by lunch along the way. Finish the journey by crossing the dramatic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi Ntichka pass, arriving in Marrakech for a direct drop-off at your Riad.
